We pledge to support the BAME employees in our organisation, including reviewing our hiring processes and career progression, so that no person’s career prospects are hindered because of their race.
We pledge to review our organisational policies and practices to ensure that our actions are not limited to compliance, acknowledging that real change is a continuous process not a destination.
We pledge to take action by engaging and learning from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic businesses, communities and organisations.
We pledge to implement a long-term training strategy for diversity and inclusion in order to ensure a culture of racial equity in my business/organisation.
We will go beyond simple ‘tick box’ equality and diversity training and work with organisations such as Lives of Colour to help us understand the difficulties that BAME people face in UK institutions.
